Professional, respectful and helpful. I have learnt a lot about myself and my style of training. Fun and informative and I have made lots of great, similar minded friends.
Welcome to Raven River Agility, dog agility classes based in Morpeth. For a full list and information on spaces available see 'Classes'.
Our classes are suitable for those just beginning in agility but also for those who want to consider competing in the future. We have a handful that are now competing at Kennel Club level across the North East.
Our classes are held in a large indoor arena, which has a special dust-free surface and spectator gallery with floodlights. We use Kennel Club competition grade equipment.
At the minute 99% of our classes are full, and we have a beginners list for 2014. If you are interested, please get in touch.

Fun Shows - Sunday 20th April. 5pm-9pm (two timeslots)
Outdoor Sessions are also put on during the spring/summer.
We welcome all breeds, as long as they are over 10months of age, have up to date vaccinations, are sociable in an environment with other dogs (working on and off leash), and have a reasonable level of obedience. Puppy foundation classes may be available in 2014.
Whilst we are a 'fun' club, our classes are structured and safe, using competition grade equipment (wooden contacts). Classes are taught, and you will never be expected to work on your own or negotiate the equipment unsupervised. We maintain a pleasant and safe working environment for both dog and handler.
Junior handlers are more than welcome, and even have their own class in our annunal league awards.
"Friendly, informative club which caters for all levels from beginners to advanced. We enjoy the individual support given in the class environment as both our dogs are completely different and both can be catered for here. Sessions are varied to avoid repetition and the fun shows allow a friendly and competitive environment in which to socialise and have fun. We always come away feeling as if we have learnt something new."
The phone has never stopped, and enquires continue to flood in which (on the one hand is great) but means that induction classes are filling up quicker than ever, I continue to put the lottery on in the hope I might be able to build my own barn, but alas, no luck yet. (we are also continuing to look for another premises to supplement our classes at The Pegasus Centre at Tranwell) So please keep an eye out for any indoor or outdoor space.
Due to the number of beginners currently on our waiting list we currently have no spaces in any of our induction sessions. We are currently looking to add another session as well as taster days. We are currently not taking on anymore beginners, but please leave us your email address and you will be contacted as soon as a space becomes available.
